Mr. Juneja, the founder of Mankind Group, is one of the most distinguished business leaders of the country today. He incepted Mankind Pharma in the year 1995 with a mission to serve the society by providing quality life saving drugs at affordable cost. Under his supervision and expertise, Mankind has flourished from an INR 50 lakhs firm to an INR 1900 crores mammoth in a span of 17 years and is heading towards a turnover of INR 2500 crores.

Mankind is an umbrella for many group companies like DISCOVERY, LIFESTAR, VETKIND, FUTURE and MAGNET, and brands like Unwanted-72, Manforce, Accucheck-Go, Kaloree1, Zenflox, Nuforce, Nurokind etc, and boasts of an R&D centre of its own. Mr Juneja firmly believes in giving back to the society and hence is devoted to corporate social responsibility. Driven by its commitment towards social welfare & dedicated to the idea of providing family support to orphan children, Mankind has been associated with SOS Children's villages of India to help the underprivileged children live a secured life with natural family environment. It also looks after “Andh Vidyalaya” which educates the blind people with general pattern of the society. Free medicines are distributed to organizations like Navjyoti Foundation (run by Dr. Kiran Bedi) and Helpage India et al whenever there is a requirement.

In his around 40 year – long stint with the pharma industry that commenced in 1974 when he completed his graduation in science and that saw him working with pharma companies like Lupin, Mr Juneja has been accorded with many accolades and awards, the latest jewel being the Business Icon – 2011 (Pharma) Award by Network 18.
